Boy, did summer get away from us. We’ve been printing a herd of wedding invitations so more to come on those in the next month, but first a long over due recap of our adventures at the Ladies of Letterpress Conference in Asheville, NC.
It goes without saying, but we saw lots of letterpress delights and met lots of interesting people. One of our favorite parts was the papermaking demo (pictured above). Very educational and inspiring at the same time, a hard combo to achieve. We definitely want to try it at some point. Among all the great lectures, we gravitated toward the one about the making of small books. It’s a whole other fascinating world. A true art of storytelling that you don’t get to see every day. Those are just a couple of the highlights, but if they have the conference again next year, we suggest making the trip.
