This past September, Amanda and Derek were married at the Parkside Mansion here in Denver. It was a lovely ceremony and a lively reception. We were lucky to work with them to create this wedding collection.
The inspiration behind the collection started with antique blue mason jars found in Derek’s mom attic. To capture that classic antique look, we used a combination of hand-drawn type and images, pulling from design elements and textures found on the jars. The color palette for the letterpress invitation, response card, and website tag were derived from the shades of blue in the jar. For a finishing touch we used vintage stamps on the envelope.
